Carrom

Carrom is a tabletop flicking game for two players, played on a square wooden board with a pocket in each corner. Each player owns a set of carrom men — white or black — and takes turns flicking the striker from the baseline to knock their pieces into the pockets. The red queen is the prize piece: she must be pocketed and then covered by one of your own men to count.

The first player to pocket all of their carrom men, having properly covered the queen if they claimed her, wins the board. Angles, rebounds and gentle touch shots matter as much as power.
