Game rules
How to play Nard.
Nard is the backgammon family's classic race game for two players. Each side has fifteen checkers that travel around a board of twenty-four points, moving by the roll of two dice. You can use each die for a separate checker or combine both on one, and doubles are played twice — four moves from a single roll.
The goal is to bring all fifteen checkers into your home board and then bear them off before your opponent does. Blocking points, building primes and timing your race are what separate a lucky roll from a winning game. Nard on PlayHub deals live dice to both players in real time, hosts private invite-only tables, supports AI matches, and offers an instant rematch when the last checker leaves the board.
